CAMP & CONNECT

A long weekend in the redwoods for GBTQ+ men ready to drop the armor.

Sept 4 – 7, 2026 Mendocino, CA 21 – 30 Men
An Invitation

You can be sexually active and still feel a long way from yourself.

Many men know how to perform confidence, sexuality, and connection — but few of us know how to actually feel relaxed, present, and fully ourselves inside intimacy.

CAMP CONNECT is a four-day cabin retreat for GBTQ+ men who are ready to feel more connected — to their bodies, their desires, and each other. A place to stop performing and start showing up.

It's not about being more experienced, more confident, or more "advanced." It's about stepping out of isolation and into honest connection.

Through touch, breath, movement, relational practice and erotic exploration, CONNECT invites you to soften the armor, quiet the overthinking, and reconnect with parts of yourself that may have gone numb, hidden, or untouched for years.

Whether you arrive feeling curious, shut down, lonely, excited, nervous, or somewhere in between — you do not need to arrive as a finished version of yourself. Just arrive willing.

Is This For You?

This retreat may be for you if…

Why CONNECT

This is not a workshop weekend. It is also not a sex party.

CONNECT lives in the space between worlds — consent-forward, emotionally aware, embodied, and a lot more relaxed than you might expect.

i.

An embodied container, not a curriculum

Less pressure to "get it right," and more permission to actually feel: your body, your boundaries, your desire, your nervous system, your capacity for play.

  • Embodiment and nervous system practice
  • Conscious touch and sensation exploration
  • Erotic communication and boundary work
  • Shadow work and emotional integration
ii.

A brotherhood, not a classroom

Limited to 21–30 men. Daily men's circles. Witnessed dialogue without performance. The kind of laboratory where vulnerability slowly becomes brotherhood.

  • Opening + closing circles (required for all attendees)
  • Daily men's circles and relational exercises
  • Group erotic embodiment labs
  • Communal meals around the fire
iii.

The forest does half the work

A casual cabin property tucked into the Mendocino redwoods. Sauna, river bathing, hammocks, and long stretches of quiet between sessions.

  • Private and shared cabins, plus tent options
  • Communal bathhouse and shared bathrooms
  • Sauna, cold plunge, river access
  • Hikes, hammocks, and unstructured rest
What Awaits

Six pieces of what we'll do together.

Every CONNECT unfolds a little differently depending on who shows up. Here is the shape of it.

i.

Embodiment & Breath

Daily practices to settle the nervous system, drop out of your head, and into the parts of you that already know.

ii.

Men's Circle

Honest, witnessed dialogue with practitioners and peers — the laboratory where vulnerability becomes brotherhood.

iii.

Conscious Touch

Sensation exploration, directions of touch, and learning who any given moment is actually for. Participation is always invitational.

iv.

Erotic Exploration

Group erotic practice, power and surrender, rope demos, and a Sunday evening play space — held with care, not performance.

v.

River, Sauna & Rest

Long open hours for river bathing, sauna, walking, journaling, napping, and doing absolutely nothing. The integration is in the rest.

vi.

Communal Meals

Three meals a day shared around the long table or by the fire. Dinners often become the most unexpectedly tender hours of the weekend.

Scenes from Camp

A glimpse inside the container.

Brotherhood, breath, the quiet between sessions, the long pause before a fire.

Two men holding each other forehead-to-forehead, eyes closed, in a moment of tender connection.
Two men leaning on a wooden deck railing, looking out into the redwoods together.
A man in a white robe with an eye motif speaking in a small circle of attendees.

Overhead view of a group circle exercise — yarn strung between participants creating a web of relational connection on the floor.
Two shirtless men in a tight embrace, hands holding the back, intimate and grounded.

The Land

Tall trees, cold rivers, soft fog — and a property built for this kind of work.

Our home for the weekend is Spirit Camp.

A quiet cabin and tent property tucked into old-growth redwoods on the Mendocino coast — wood-fired sauna, cold river, a lodge with cathedral beams for our circles, and a sound-bath sanctuary for embodiment practice.

You'll find private cabins, shared cabins, glamping tents, and a campfire ring carved into the forest floor. All accommodations share communal bathhouse facilities. That's the camp part of camp.

After

Imagine leaving CONNECT feeling…

More relaxed in your body. More honest about your desires. Less afraid of being seen. More connected to other men. More trusting of your own no, and your own yes. More playful, more open, more alive. Less performative. More yourself.

A note from Court —

Many men arrive at CONNECT thinking they're searching for better sex, more confidence, or new experiences. Those things may come. But what they usually find is something simpler.

A sense of belonging. A deeper connection to themselves. The ability to relax in their body, around other men, without needing to perform or hide.

Not because they became someone new — but because they spent four days practicing what it feels like to be seen, and to stay.

Words From Camp

What stays with them, after.

"

A sense of community was created in such a short time, and I was blown away when an individual was pushed to look at something deeper — not settling for their initial answer, but asking them to recognize a more profound insight. I loved the retreat and it opened a lot for me.

"

Connect is the perfect name for this retreat. I was challenged and changed. I was given tools of the erotic to deeply connect to myself, my pleasure, and the pleasure of others. I'm leaving refreshed and part of a beautiful brotherhood of compassionate, growth-oriented men.

"

A box of toys that were in a faraway unknown place have been found, carefully opened, and are now ready to be played with. Thank you for your amazing assistance and teachings. It was beautiful and I am grateful to have been part of it.

Common Questions

What men ask before they say yes.

I've never done somatic or sexological work before. Is that okay?

Absolutely. CONNECT welcomes men at every stage — from those entirely new to this work to seasoned practitioners. You do not need to identify as kinky, extroverted, highly experienced, or fully confident to belong here. The container is designed to meet you exactly where you are. It is okay to be nervous.

How much sexual content is involved?

CONNECT is a consent-forward erotic embodiment retreat. There will be explicit teachings, demonstrations, group erotic practice, and a Sunday evening play space. Participation is always invitational. Witnessing is an activity too. Nothing is required beyond consent, communication, and respect for yourself and others.

Are the cabins or tents private bathrooms?

No — all accommodations at Camp Connect use shared, communal bathhouse facilities. No rooms have private bathrooms. This is part of the casual, summer-camp character of the property.

What if I want connection but struggle to trust people quickly?

That is one of the most common things men arrive with — and one of the most fitting reasons to come. Trust is something we build together across the weekend through small, consent-based practices. You will not be asked to leap. You will be invited to step.

Do I have to attend the whole weekend?

Yes. All attendees must be present for the opening and closing ceremonies, no exceptions. If you are unable to attend the entire weekend, please wait for another event when you are able. The container depends on everyone being inside it.

What's the group size?

CAMP CONNECT is built for 21–30 men. Large enough for a real spectrum of bodies, ages, and experience levels. Small enough that everyone is known by name by the end.

What's the refund policy?

We strongly encourage trip insurance to protect your deposit and payments. Please email hello@thebodyvox.com with refund or transfer questions before booking.

What happens after I book?

Once payment is received, we'll schedule a 15-minute Zoom call with Court Vox to welcome you in, answer questions, and start orienting you to the weekend. Detailed logistics — directions, packing list, what to expect on Day One — follow by email closer to the retreat.
